Description

The anise oil is extracted by steam distillation of anise dried fruits, Pimpinella anisum, which Is flavorful and aromatic. Anise has been used as a spice and flavouring agent in foods and beverages and healing properties since ancient times. In some countries, this could also be used as a mouth freshener. The cultivation of our Anise oil is from China.

Appearance

Colorless to Pale Yellow liquid (but sometimes could be slightly green).

Aroma 

Possesses an aroma that is rich in anethole; intensely spicy-sweet, pungent, warm associated with the reminiscent to licorice aroma.
